Lasallian Retreat
On September 21-23, eighteen student leaders from Lasallian Youth and Campus Ministry had a planning retreat in Goshen, New York. With lot's of brainstorming, the members planned events for this year that are in the Lasallian Spirit of faith, service, and community. Mike Foley, Melissa Altman, Sarah Engle, Gary Pritts, and Luke O'Connell accompanied the students.

Cake Sale for St. Mary's in Kenya

The cake sale for St. Mary's in Kenya raised a little over $450. A group of about 8 students stayed after school the night before to bake cakes in the school kitchen with Sarah Engle and Gary Pritts. About 25 students and faculty members brought in cakes and other baked goods.

JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge
On October 6th, nineteen Loughlinites, accompanied by Maryann Palmese and Yul Galloway, volunteered their time at the JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge. They worked at one of the medical tents passing out water and tending to minor health concerns. It was a beautiful morning for a run and the group had a great experience

Breast Cancer Walk
On October 21st, 73 Loughlin students volunteered their time at the American Cancer Society's Breast Cancer Walk at Prospect Park. All the students cheered on the walkers and helped with odd jobs around the walk. Loughlin was extremely well represented by this group. Thanks to all who helped out.
