What are they?
They are tokens of recognition for students who
go out of their way to
promote service and kindness to the Loughlin community.
How do you get one?
Loughlin’s faculty and
staff will have bucks readily available in case any good deeds are done by
our students. If a student spreads goodwill, helpfulness, or any random act
of kindness, they will be given a LaSalle Buck.
What are they good for?
Take your buck to Campus Ministry to have your
name put into a raffle for Loughlin gear. There will be a raffle at the end
of every month.
Students who are rewarded bucks will also have their picture hung up in the
first floor display case and their name read over the morning announcements.
Why are they called LaSalle
bucks?
Campus Ministry has
begun a new tradition of “LaSalle Bucks” to promote the teachings of Saint
John Baptist de LaSalle. It is our hope that we not only spread happiness
and kindness throughout the school, but also St John Baptist de LaSalle’s
lessons and legacy. |
