of academic interests, to develop new academic interests, and to bring
breadth to knowledge. Students are invited to apply to the SOAR

provides Internet service. Access is filtered to block objectionable
content and faculty and staff are present in the library and labs to monitor use.
All PC machines are connected to our local school
network as well. This local network gives all computers access to
printer services and server-based resources such as the library catalog,
EXPAN (the College Board database for college information), SIRS Government,
SIRS Renaissance, SIRS Researcher, The Encyclopedia of Religion and
Grolier's Multimedia Encyclopedia. In addition there is a
school-wide subscription to Encyclopedia Britannica through our Internet
connection. There is a full time technology director on staff to
help teachers integrate technology into every aspect of learning.
We at Loughlin are proud to have such extensive
facilities available and in use. We are committed to remain on the
leading edge of using computer technology to enhance the educational
experience of our students, and to prepare them for the ever-changing
workplace.
