LOCATION:
Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School is located in the historic Clinton
Hill / Fort Greene section of Brooklyn, a residential neighborhood,
surrounded by refurbished brownstones and academic institutions on
tree-lined streets. Clermont, Greene, Lafayette and Vanderbilt Avenues
bound the school building. It is easily accessible by public
transportation.
Loughlin’s
"campus" consists of the nearby Brooklyn Academy of Music, the
BAM Rose Cinemas, the Brooklyn Museum and the Brooklyn Public Library.
Pratt Institute and St. Joseph’s College of Brooklyn are our neighboring
institutions of higher learning.
TRANSPORTATION: Metro Cards are issued by the Bureau of Pupil
Transportation and available at the school. Loughlin is easily accessible
by public transportation.

BY BUS:
The B38 (DeKalb-Lafayette Aves), B52 (Gates Ave) and B69 (Vanderbilt
Ave) buses stop right by the school. Other buses (B41 (Flatbush Ave) to
B69; B46 (Utica Ave/Malcolm X Blvd) and B48 (Lorimer St) to B52) and
trains that connect with any of the above serve the area around Loughlin.
BY LONG ISLAND RAILROAD: the Brooklyn
Terminal is located at Atlantic and Flatbush Avenues – eight blocks
from the school. Walk four blocks up Hansen Place to Fulton Street, then
continue four blocks up Greene Avenue to Clermont Avenue. The school
entrance is at the middle of the block at number 357.
