Scholarships, Financial Aid and Loans
Bishop Loughlin offers financial assistance through academic scholarships and Grant-in-aid (financial aid) programs. These programs are sponsored by donations made by alumni of Bishop Loughlin, St. Augustine and Bishop McCDonnell high schools.
Academic Scholarships are determined by a student’s grammar school record, results of the Catholic schools entrance exam (TACHS) and recommendations from grammar school personnel.
Grant-in-aid (Financial Aid)
This is a need based program which is available to registered students whose families are in need of some financial assistance. Applications are available upon registration. Awards are based on income and expenses and are contingent on the application and supporting financial documents on time. The deadline is May 1, 2012.
The Student Sponsor Partner (SSP)
The Student Sponsor Partners is a non-profit organization which provides at risk students in New York City the opportunity of a quality non-public school high school education through the financial support of one to one guidance of a sponsor.

Students are selected by the Student Sponsor Partners and must meet Bishop Loughlin’s standards of academic achievement and good conduct.
