Academic Support

Homework Center

Bishop Loughlin has a homework center to help students do better academically. Teachers are available to help students with their homework and class work. The center is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:30 P.M. to 3:40 P.M.

Students who want extra help should report to Room 126 by 2:40 P.M. with their books.

Faculty

Many faculty members are available to work with students either before or after school.  For extra help, see your teacher and arrange a time.

Peer Tutoring

The National Honor Society sponsors a Peer Tutoring program.  To get a peer tutor, see your Guidance Counselor.

Guidance

The Guidance Department will work with you to find ways to improve your academics.

Regents

Special courses are offered in our summer Regents Prep program for students who do not meet the New York State standards for graduation.

SAT

Bishop Loughlin sponsors an SAT Prep class for Juniors in the spring right before the May exam.  Junior parents will be notified about the classes in March.
