Why Give

Bishop Loughlin Memorial high School is a Catholic, diocesan, college preparatory high school that seeks to prepare students not just for higher education, but for the world that awaits them once formal education ends. Upon graduating they will become a member of the Loughlin Alumni Society, a distinguished group of over 16,000 alumni who make a positive difference in life.
It is through the extraordinary generosity of our alumni, parents and friends that Loughlin is able to meet the ever-increasing financial burdens of operating a successful and highly competitive Catholic, secondary educational institution. Such generosity is the essential resource that sustains this Lasallian tradition and enables Loughlin to:
-
“Bridge the Gap” — The actual cost of a Loughlin education is $11,700. Tuition is $8,900. We need to make up the $2800. difference.
-
Cultivate its financial assistance program so that we can continue to serve a diverse student body.
-
Offer a comprehensive program of extra-curricular activities.
-
Remain on the technological cutting-edge, with an increasing number of “smart classrooms,” computer upgrades for our faculty and computer centers and equipment upgrades for administration and the classroom.
-
Sustain our highly successful retreat programs and campus ministry activities.
-
Attract and retain an outstanding and highly experienced faculty.
