Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School is a co-educational, college preparatory, Catholic high school in the Diocese of Brooklyn. It provides a Lasallian Education.

Loughlin’s academic curriculum provides a full range of courses to meet the needs of every student and prepare them for success in higher education. We offer Advanced Placement courses in English and History. Honors level courses are offered in Math, Science, English, Spanish, French, and Social Studies.
Following its conviction that it is important to educate the whole person, Loughlin also provides courses in Religion, Music, Art, Physical Education, Health, and Technology.
Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School is chartered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York and is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Loughlin has been named a Blue Ribbon Exemplary School by the United States Department of Education.
Bishop Loughlin provides a wide range of extra-curricular activities : band, dance, step, sports, technology, culture, poetry and more. Everyone is encouraged to participate. Loughlin also has a strong program in a wide range of sports .
Loughlin students show their strong commitment to community service through Campus Ministry and Lasallian Youth projects and by supporting St. Mary’s, our sister school in Kenya.
Bishop Loughlin is a diverse community. We welcome people of all races and beliefs to become students, faculty and staff at our school. Loughlin students come primarily from Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan as well as the greater metropolitan area of New York.
Loughlin maintains modern facilities with wireless internet service throughout the building, modern science laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology, a full service library, and 4 computer labs including a mobile lab. Our teachers are committed to integrating technology into the curriculum through the use of interactive SMARTboards in the classroom.
Bishop Loughlin is located in the Clinton Hill /Fort Greene section of Brooklyn – a safe, residential neighborhood of tree-lined streets and refurbished brownstones. We are close to the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the main branch of the Brooklyn Library, Pratt Institute, and St. Joseph’s College.
