| Despite the fact that it was the first day of the transit
strike, many Loughlinites made it to school for the annual Christmas
Show. With Mr. Maffei as the host, the Christmas spirit filled the
crowd and energized the performers. Performances by Modern Dance,
Latino Dance, African Dance, the Drama Club, Steppers, Small Band,
the Bishop Loughlin Band, and the Chorus put everyone in the mood
for Christmas. This year's show will definitely go down in history
as one of the most memorable performances. Since the strike made it
difficult for many to get to school, some of the performers were
absent. In their absence, some teachers tried their best at
performing Christmas Songs. Mr. Maffei also lead the crowd in
singing alongside him in some numbers. All in all, the 2005
Christmas Show was a crowd pleasing success. |
