One of the major events of
the season is our annual Performing Arts
Afternoon of Culture and Fashion which was held
on Sunday, March 4th. It was an exciting day as
all the members of our community came together
to make this the best show of the year.
The show had many highlights:
Our Seniors had their choice of prom dresses as
the fashion part of the show highlighted formal
wear.
The Angelo Consoli Award for contributing to the
success of the Performing Arts Program at Bishop
Loughlin High School was presented to Ernest
Jackson ‘83, Da’Veeda Smith Agnew ‘84 and
posthumously to Vincent Schiavelli ‘66. Ernest
Jackson accepted his award and then performed a
guitar solo.
All of our Bands, Dance Groups and our Chorus
performed magnificently in a variety of songs
from the 60's, 70's and 80's.
Our Parents’ Association manned the food
counters where they sold snacks, fresh popcorn,
hot dogs and liquid refreshments.
