Although opened at the
end of September, Lasalle Hall, the home of
the Bishop Loughlin Boarding Program, was
dedicated on Monday, November 20th.
An assembly for the whole Loughlin community
was held first. Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio,
Barbara Welles (Founder of the Anchor
Foundation), Ray Walker (Director of
Residential Living) and Brother Dennis
Cronin, F.S.C. spoke at the assembly. Our
African Dancers welcomed our distinguished
guests from the Boards of Anchor and Bishop
Loughlin, Loughlin alumni and politicians -
Tish James and Roger Green. Our Chorus
under the direction of Robert Bero ended the
program.
Immediately after the
assembly, Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio blessed
Lasalle Hall and cut the ribbon with Michael
Shand, one of the Boarding School students.
Members of the Boarding School program gave
tours of the facility and there was a brief
reception. |
