For three days before school officially
opened, the Class of 2010 was welcomed to
the Bishop Loughlin community. On
Wednesday, September 6th the
Freshmen gathered in the auditorium to hear
from Loughlin’s Administration, Brother
Dennis Cronin, F.S.C., Mr. Dorney and Miss
McKeever. From the auditorium the Freshmen
went to their Home Rooms where they were
given their schedules, metrocards, planners
and a welcome pack from the Leadership
Council. Thursday, September 7th,
was a busy day with the challenge of the
lockers and locks, an opening of school
Liturgy, learning the school song, a Spirit
Day in the gym and finally a great barbecue
in the school yard with music provided by
Loughlin’s Parents’ Association. On Friday
the Freshmen went through a mock schedule,
finding their classrooms and meeting their
teachers. A great welcome for what we hope
will be a great class. |
