Congratulations to the Men’s Varsity AA basketball team and coach Khalid Green. On February 23, the Lions roared to victory over Holy Cross, 76 – 66, and became the ’08 Brooklyn-Queens CHSAA Tournament Champions.

The Lions overpowered Holy Cross’s Knights with great teamwork. They kept Knights tied up and befuddled with a full court press and a lightening-quick game. Jayvaughn Pinkston, Trevon Hamlet and Kevin Phillip played a great game. High-scorers were Deron Lamb with 28 points and James Johnson with 19 points. You can read more about the game at NYChoops.net
